Just for shits and giggles I went back and looked at the "PERIPHERY LEAKED" thread and it's pretty funny how many of you were jocking Periphery's nuts when their self-titled came out but are now shitting all over the entire genre a year and half later because it's trendy. I do like Periphery, their choice of vocalists has always been appaling though hence the reason I only have the instrumental version of the album on my iTunes. Like I mentioned Bulb related stuff and AAL are the exceptions to this genre. I just don't get the love for stuff like Tesseract.

And of course anybody can listen to whatever they want but the fact is, I'm better than people who don't listen to what I listen to.

Substructure sounds exactly like The Contortionist with some Misery Signals thrown in, except not as good. I enjoy some of the EP but it's like nothing ever gets resolved. And the production is garbage.

i've never listened to Substructure, but aside from the vocals I don't hear much similarity with The Contortionist. TC is one band i will most definitely defend genuinely, because they're kids making fucking awesome music

We actually showed substructure to the contortionist and they were sadded by how many of the techniques TC use that substructure figured out.
