HAHA I actually went out for Mexican food last night ... I didn't see any of these cholos you guys are always on about - I guess there aren't a lot here in Australia haha ... was quite happy to find they had Pacifico beer on the menu, I couldn't drink enough of that stuff when we went to Cozemel and Playa del Carmen !!!

Man, Australia don't know CHIT about mexican food. May you be so fortunate to make it to Cali one day to discover what real mexican food should be. Fucking worth it.

Mexican in Australia is about as legit as Outback Steakhouse in the US.

HAHA yeah I know - it was nothing compared to the stuff I had when we were in Cali and Mex a few years back but the place we went to is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Melbourne. If your ever in the city check it out its called Los Amates. Its owned and run by Mexican people so the food/drinks/atmosphere is actually pretty good. I had a cactus dish that was quite nice.

If I find myself out that way, I'll make a point of hitting it up to compare and contrast to shit I make.I'm still trying to figure out to get my carne just like back home, and it's close but it isn't there yet. My wife loves my mexican cooking, and all I can think is wait till I get her to the US and drag her ass down to Colima's. Fucking loved living right around the corner from there.

Just looked at the Los Amates site and holy fuck, shit is over priced. I don't know, I still get sticker shock here. You'd think that after three years I'd be over it.

Breaking Bad reference. If you haven't watched it, you should. I'd be fucking shocked if it ever fell out of my top-10-shows-you-need-to-see-before-you-die list.

Go watch it. Fer srs, yo. The fact that you don't watch tv is irrelevant, you goddamn dirty hipster. Make a point of seeing this show, and cut the throat of anyone that dares distract you.

Reminds me, have any of you fuckers watched Sons of Anarchy? It's great, I think I even like it a bit more than Breaking Bad in sense of emotion and suspense.

I've asked that question here before but all I was was tumbleweeds roll past. Yeah, I think it's a great show. I think bB is better in terms of depth, but SOA is really damn good. The third season got dragged out way too long, but this last season was just sensational.

If that's where the kids are at, that's where the bands are sent... if they have good mgmt, label push, etc. The band has the final say usually but not without some arm twisting and they're usually right. And I don't really give a shit who we tour with usually to be honest. Only because I'm used to not getting our way with things like that and having almost zero control over what bands are picked. Its the same for most everyone at different levels.

I don't understand what you find odd about this tour unless it's maybe carnifex.

Anybody into Shameless?
The first season was pretty fucking awesome, but I'm on the fence about the new one so far.
It's almost like the ways they are trying to be over the top are becoming formulaic and prefictable

Um, I think you meant that the other way around, but either way you clearly haven't listened to all these bands.

The Contortionist is amazing. Fleshgod is sick. And while I don't really dig ASP, when Jason Richardson was in that band it went down a whole different track. Some of the stuff on that last album is nuts.

Carnifax can eat shit.

I know, I was being sarcastic. I've listened to them, not my cups of tea. Some of the other bands are alright but they are a lot different and don't compare to Fleshgod's sound at all in my opinion.

I noticed you live in Boulder, Caninus. Are you going to any of the metal shows in Denver this year?

Probably, man. I don't see a ton of shows unless there's a band I really want to see. Any good ones coming up? I'm bad at keeping up to date with who is touring.

I'm seeing Nile and Meshuggah, and I know Behemoth is coming but I probably won't make it to that one.

I'd definitely want to see Nile. I saw Meshuggah about 2 years ago at the Gothic and haven't really listened to them since then.

Yeah, I'm going mostly because my friend is a fan of the headliner (Tbdm) it could have been a better band but I'm not complaining. Skeletonwitch with and Hour of Penance are gonna be there too.
