This one is a bit more personal. It's quite remarkable to hear him take his last breath then hear it all release. Despite the grim nature of the video, the cops reactions crack me up. |

Seen that one. So weird how nonchalant he is about it. And then the cops reaction is pretty funny.

What the fuck are the circumstances behind that one?
The stories behind this kind of shit always interests me. What was their breaking point exactly? I've gone through some fucked up shit and at one point in particular it was all I wanted, but there were things in place that I couldn't just let myself do that. The thought of the pain and heartache it would cause to people I loved hurt more than the idea of having tolive with depression and anxiety. I used to wish I could get past that one thing. I'm glad I didn't. Still have a lot of the underlying issues that spurned the desire, but at least that the desire itself is long gone. I think it's kind of funny how complex the human psyche is, yet how stupid & predictable (for the most part) we can be in our actions. |

Still better than Leno.
To be fair I've seen him rant about some shit and was pretty spot on, and I think that he's a lot more genuine than most of the late night show hosts out there. My favorite moment has to be when Betty White was on his show announcing her entry to run for president, particularly towards the back end of it. I'm sure that a lot of it's scripted, but shit like this, I'd find it hard to hold it in. I think most late night TV shows suck though, about the only thing I like them for are times like when Gogol Bordello and Janelle Monae played on Letterman. Amazing performances. That Gogol Bordello vid, I'd never even heard of them until that letterman show, and at first I thought is was some joke that Rob Schnieder was doing, but thing was they were tearing it up and all I could think was holy shit he's eally good. I was mildly disappointed to find out that it was not him. |

Check this shit out, it's kind of cool.
Basically this chick (who is a nutcase) spends her time in between visits to Japan at an asylum repeatedy pounding her own face into padded walls by creating some fairly interesting and unique art installations, the latest one being called "The Obliteration room". Basically it's a fully furnished greatroom but everything in the room is painted a pright white color. She opened it up with the idea to let children go wild in there for several weeks with an ungodly number of colored dot stickers. Here's the result. It's not insanely mind bending or anything but it is a massive explosion of color and it looks pretty cool. http://poppytalk.blogspot.com/2012/0...give-kids.html |

If you click to create a post, you'll see a yoube logo that you can click on, and you want to take this part of the youtube URL and paste it in. /watch?v=eHo6I_AFCzo&feature=related It's super easy, and loads the videos in. Far as the video goes, I think Andy Rehfeldt is talented as fuck putting his videos together, but I wish he'd stretch himself out a bit further, it always seems like its a radio disney or death metal version. As for a Cattle video, I'd request it being done in a vegas lounge singer/big band swing style. |

I hate all the zombie bullshit and think it's just as gay as the vampire bullshit, but nevertheless the read on this was a little interesting:
http://www.cracked.com/article_15643...ly-happen.html Mostly the second one with the bitch from haiti that was actually zombifying people and some guy getting buried alive that they found wandering around 18 years later. |

I fucking loved Serpent & The Rainbow. Such a great flick. I always wondered why it seemed like 2 different films but then I read about the story behind the production of it.
A lot of political bullshit and their sets were being fucked with by looters and people who believed in voodoo. Fucking crazy shit actually, I wish I could find the article about it. |

Do you guys know anything about this band? They seem way too good for their popularity.

Speed painting & music from one of my favorite artists Menton Matthews III AKA Saltillo. One of the most humble and down to earth people I have ever encountered.

Where do you guys get your music from, out of curiosity? Do you buy CDs, download it, pirate it, what?

EDIT: That's somewhat a lie. There are a few artists and other IP that I have a lot of trust in and will buy their merch outright. More often than not, I've never been disappointed. Last edited by PsychoNavigator; 01-18-2012 at 08:46 PM. |

Most of the stuff I listen to these days is noise or experimental and my favourite format at the moment is the cassette ! so I buy all my stuff ... cant even remember the last time I downloaded something - I like having an actual physical copy ... If its a new artist I'm getting into or whatever I will listen to their stuff online before I buy anything, read a bit about em etc. But I never Pirate anything, I think its a slap in the face to hard working musicians/artists. Unless you pirate it then go buy a physical release afterwards I guess. I still dont do it though.

I'm sure that I am not the norm when I can honestly say that as a result of piracy, I've paid for more music than I ever have without; However, I think it would be asburd to say that I am by an means an anomaly. |

Most of the stuff I listen to is by small artists on small labels or self released. So I buy alot of my music direct from the artist or the label that they are on. I know that the money I pay for that tape/cd/vinyl is going towards that artists next album, tshirt design, tour or heroin hit ... If I copy that cd from someone else or actually find it somewhere to download I know for a fact that its gonna be $ that that artist doesn't recieve. I couldn't say to a friend when the new Cattle cd is out "oi burn it for me cunt" with no intention of ever buying it. Just knowing all the blood sweat and gore that has gone into it. I dont know how much $ they would actually see from each cd sale (im sure its probably fuck all) but I just wouldnt feel right. |

I used to download from itunes (lol), but now I buy CD's because I like supporting the artists, having a physical copy, and it just feels good to look at your collection.
