I fucking hate dancing and my girlfriend tries to make me anytime we're at a bar that plays shitty top-40 music. Nothing worse than a bunch of brainless faggots and bimbos grinding to the latest t-pain song.

That said, every year when I go to Oktoberfest in this bavarian style town in my state I dance my ass off. Mind you, it's all german renditions of "sweet caroline" and the chicken dance, so it's hilariously fun. I also danced like hell on St. Patricks day, and even though it was all hip-hop music at the bar I was so lit I didnt give a fuck. But this is how I danced the whole time:

Modern mainstream shit is not funny at all to dance to. But more cheesy rock songs, dunno.. alternative, punk, 80's stuff, indie, electro.. is hilarious.

clubs are gay. but clubbing can be fun - especially in nyc with a bunch of russians from bay ridge who barely speak english but have enough $ to buy their way passed fuckface bouncers

When friends and I throw our own DJ and dubstep parties, dancing goes down. Way easier to dance when you're surrounded with nothing but hot young scene girls and Troy is spinning.

Fuck no. No matter how drunk I am, and I am very drunk regularly, I will never dance. I like destroying shit whilst listening to shit music, unfortunately, one doesn't get the chance to do that very often.

I used to go to clubs, years ago when I was single. If youre drunk (and on various benzos as well) and youre out dancing with drunk chicks, its quite easy to get laid.
