are you positive you have the snare on D2 in the midi map? make sure its on the key right above C2 not E2, because in my superior 2 the E2 makes that rimshot sound.

if thats not the case then i have no idear

i think this is the case because i just checked the axe to fall GP tab (assuming you are using th one on UG) and the snare is '40' instead of '38', by default '40' is set to E2 (rimshot), and '38' is set to D2 (the snare) in superior 2

yeah you have it on rim shot. just move it down 2 on the midi map and you will get a snare hit

i used to go from tabit to superior with the midi and i had to stop using 40 and start using 38 because of it

that bass tone is awesome, seriously. the only criticism i have is that the guitars could be thicker/heavier to mask the bass...in other words, it would make the mix gel a little bit more.

Yeah for a test it sounds solid. Is that recording just for fun or do you have a project you're working on.

Just looked up "Shamisen"...I honestly don't know if that particular instrument was sampled in the EZDrummer Electronic expansion that I have.

obswalq (or cory, apparently), i just listened to your cayur stuff and it rules. i'm actually planning on putting out an EP that is similar in terms of soundscapes/ambience, but with a more guitar-oriented focus. just curious, what DAW and synth pads did you use for production purposes?

FL8 and Adobe Audition 1.5 and I have about 100GB of VSTs and soundfonts, lol. I can make a rar file of all of it if you want.

I may have gotten the tone I want to use for an album I'm working on. The lead tone is a little hollow, though; I cut 7kHz too much.
