I like the Jerky breakbeats, Though I admit that album will probably get a few spins then filed away or binned on a hard drive somewhere never to surface again, but I'll enjoy it while my interest lasts.

but anyway, am-a sharing dood, there might be someone on here that digs it more than you or I.
I might check out that Astro Nautico if my interest still peaks in this genre of music.

Yeah, what R&B I've heard till now just sounds so mega cheese that I can't get into it and it doesn't make me pitch a tent. This sounds more like a Burial vibe than any other R&B I've heard lol.

Well, I was the same only a year ago.
I always thought r'n'b would be the only genre alongside power electronics that I would never get into.

Anyway, there are as many subgenres as with every other genre, so I'm not sure where you should start.





D'angelo's Vodoo is probably considered my most to be the be all and end all, but I think it's not that easy to get into. Still, once you do it defnitely pays off. However, could be a tad too cheesy for you.



Jamie Woon's album Mirrorwritings dropped recently and it's the shit.
Could be more up your alley.



Alternative r'n'b made my some white hipsters.
Stillness Is the Move could be a Beyonce track, if you ask me.
That is, if Beyonce had some better songwriters.



The last few months I've also been constantly coming back to The-Dream's Love vs. Money. Shit's so catchy. No one writes catchier melodies. Not even one bad track on it, but it could be too mainstreamy for you(it's the same guy who wrote songs like Rihanna's Umbrella and Beyonce's Single Ladies).
His lyrics are also good for a chuckle or two, since he doesn't take himself too seriously.

Been hooked on Frank Ocean's mixtape as well, but Szadou was reppin him earlier, so that's probably nothing new to you.
