Der langjährige Knüppelknecht Kai Hahto strich die Segel, sein Nachfolger Sami Latva macht sich auf diesem Appetizer vorstellig. Die Finnengrinder, die mit dem letzten Werk "Exit" sogar in die finnischen Charts eingestiegen sind, präsentieren sich mit leicht veränderter Ausrichtung. Sie stoßen in exakt in die Lücke, die die unvergesslichen Nasum hinterlassen haben. Der Mix aus Tornadogrind und viehischem Midtempo, den die Schweden mit "Human 2.0." initiierten, haben sich nun auch die Finnen vermehrt auf die Fahnen geschrieben. Somit wird jetzt Raserei hin und wieder wuchtig schwungvoll aufgelockert, bis die nächste Höllenhatz über einen hereinbricht. Besonders edel: Die SloMo-Schwedenhymne 'CTC', die allein des Gitarrensoundes wegen von jedem Carnage/Nihilist-Jünger einen Kniefall verlangen müsste. Erst General Surgery, jetzt ROTTEN SOUND, was für ein Grind-Sommer! Wenn der nächste Longplayer der Finnen dieses Niveau halten kann, steht ein Überhammer ins Haus.
