in the crotchduster song mammal sauce what that vocal effect twords the end that sounds like a robot whats that effect called

That was actually a guest appearance on vox by Cher. She got like 80% of the entire profits from the album for that.

When I heard the first minute or so of Mammal Sauce, I didn't know what the hell to think except, "What the fuck is this?" Now, it's one of my favorite songs of all time.

It's a vocoder. You blend two signals, one being the vocals and the other being whatever they used to make it sound like that. Similar to a talkbox for guitar.
