the coolest thing i ever heard phil say was actually ozzfest 00 in nashville. godsmack was playing right before pantera, and during godsmacks set the rednecks were getting restless....ripping up seats, starting fires, toppling shit over. so in between sully announced that if everyone didnt stop the show would be cancelled. well the shit died down for a little bit, then pantera came out and phil basically called godsmack a bunch of faggots and told everyone to "burn this motherfucker to the ground if yall want"....and....well we pretty much did (not me personally). ozzfest was banned for 4 years in nashville. that place was in shambles at the end of the night.

he does alot of that. the ozzfest in cleveland (same year i think), there's a fence between the lawn and the pavillion, and the crowd was about to break through it. some official from the venue asked phil to calm the crowd down. so he goes back on stage, tells the crowd what he was asked to do, and says "fuck it let um sue me again, TEAR THIS FUCKING PLACE APART" then played Fucking Hostile. the fence was torn down and half the crowd got to watch Pantera and Ozzy up close for free

i'll have to find the interview he did with Opie & Anthony during one of the 'fests, lots of good quotes in there.
