Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Finally got some time out of the hectic schedule to issue a website update from the luxurious bar of our hotel in Korea. The tour has been a truly phenomenal experience so far, and we want to extend a huge 'THANKS!' to the all the awesome people that made the shows in Japan and Australia so successful."

"Tip of the day: If you're a fan of technical/progressive bands like ATHEIST and CYNIC, check out the excellent ALARUM, who supported us on the Sydney and Melbourne dates."

* Thieved from Blabbermouth.net
Props from Dark Tranquillity ... nice. :banana:

Things are going well in regards to getting new material down.
Rob is very creative and fitting in very well. Seems to have got everyone's creative juices flowing. (Plus he drinks BOURBAN not beer, sorry Mark's)
We have a good idea of the new album's name and lyrical/artistic direction.
Hoping to record mid-year and have released very shortly afterwards.

Is that the Canadian band Choke? Haven't heard them in ages. Good musicians, but not really my type of music from what I remember.

Sounds like a great festival, wish I was in Australia.

No, thats not the Canadian band. They're from Western Australia.

Its a very good line up of bands.

Some of which are old friends and I'm gonna enjoy catching up for an ale or 2 with them!!!!
