The Official "Guys Check out this SWEET deal" on death metal stuff thread

I come across great sales from time to time on popular DM cds, it seemed like a good idea to make a thread about good DM (and other music) sales so we can hook each other up with the good deals.

I'll post some in a few.

cmdistro.com
Their shipping prices suck ass but they've recently but a lot of notable items on clearance (and made all clearance 50% off). All are new.

Examples:
Diabolic - Infinity Through Purification $3
Dim Mak - Intercepting Fist $5
Immolation - Harnessing Ruin $7
Incantation - Decimate Christendom $7
Ingurgitating Oblivion - Voyage Towards Abhorrence $4
Cheap Marduk stuff.
Nevermore - Enemies of Reality CD/DVD $6
Oppressor - Agony $3
Yazuka - Way of the Dead $3
Among many others.

I also bought Onward to Golgotha and some Drawn and Quartered discs from them for about $3 each but they're sold out now.

If anyone sees any other good stuff I might not have feel free to post it.

It really depends on the packaging for me, or the rarity of the album.

If there are FLAC/320 rips out there and it's nothing but a cd and standard jewel case, odds are I'll pass. But if it's one of those fancy fold-out digipak things that obviously took some time to plan and make, I'd be more than likely willing to give you $10 for it, but these usually are like $15+, which lies the problem.

That and overseas shipping is fucking awful, almost as bad as the usd-euro conversion.

I only buy CD's from bands I want to support but wont get a chance to see live. Stuff like Severed Savior, Indricothere, 1980, etc... Very rarely do I pay for music though.

Pretty much exactly the same here. I've actually got a to-buy list of discs I can't find in lossless, and a separate list of discs I can only find in 320.
To me the appeal in buying CDs is to obtain the highest quality audio possible, ensure that what I'm listening to is what the artist actually put out instead of something with glitches and skips and other assorted wankery, and to get the awesome packaging if there is any.
Plus nothing beats physically seeing your music taste in a shelf of CDs, ever. Whenever friends come over they pull CDs out and ask me what it sounds like, and sometimes borrow the disc = awesome feeling.
Oh and on the original topic, Amazon absolutely rapes at pricing if you go for used discs (if you can find them on there). I've been regularly checking for bargains and recently picked up a few discs for £3-5 + £1.2 shipping on each disc, great bargains.

Yeah, it does, but mostly it's cheaper than buying it from the store yourself down here in Australia.

Let's not turn this into another debate on the morals of buying/downloading. No one is changing their mind.

I love buying CD's, and messing around with my collection. For me the tangible part is really important.
Cool idea for a thread, if anyone actually contributes. I've got nothing at the moment.
