They're all beautiful in their own ways.

Big City Orchestra – Greatest Hits and Test Tones

Sleep Research Facility – Deep Frieze

Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains – Caught In the Act of Not Being Awesome

Markus Mehr – Flaming Youth (single)

Kromestar – Mental Universe (another single)

Sorry I'm not allowed to post pictures.

EDIT:

The Caretaker – An Empty Bliss Beyond This World

That one, too.

Awesome, do they have a full album out?
Really enjoyed their ep and saw em life as a support for Mount Kimbie over a year ago.

Speaking of which, Mount Kimbies new album is fuckin great.
Their debut is still one of my favorite records of all time, so it's hard to compare the newest one with it.
Definitely need to spin it a bit more, but I like the slight change of sound.

Really, if you have some time give this dude a try, he is mind blowingly talented. His live work is much more appealing tho, because he incorporate a lot of impro and makes his songs much longer and gives them additional emotional boost.

I'm normally not into most deep house except for Nicolas Jaar, but this guy makes some beautiful tunes and just put out an album called Fences

Great, the third dude of this Erased Tapes trio is Peter Broderick. Ive dug thru his huge discography (a lot of collaborations) twice now and I found some amazing releases. His guitar+vocals work is not that exciting but some of his piano work is fantastic (Float, Docile...). Another highlight is his colab with Machinefabriek (Mort Aux Vaches one). Some sampes...

this was pretty disappointing for me, have you listened to his previous album? i thought it just had better, more lush atmosphere.

also Lawrence is pretty cool, dunno if its 'deep house' or minimal techno or whatever the fuck:

Something to this:

From what I skimmed on youtube, the full album doesn't quite live up to this song though.

Anathema - The Silent Enigma

Sleep Research Facility - Deep Freeze (Dark Ambient)

Also LULL - Moments deserves a mention too, its the dark ambient project by Mick Harris of Napalm Death.

From non extreme music i'd go with the first Portishead album probably, primarily because of the memories I associate with it though.

Re: Beautiful Albums?

The new Moderat album is some of the most beautiful electronic music I've heard since John Talabot's debut last year. Amazing stuff...
