^ Sounds chill, and that is some trippy artwork. Reminds me of our other guitarist's doodles.

bibio - ambivalence avenue

falls somewhere between 60s psychedelic pop, folk, hip-hop, and electronic. fans of prefuse 73, boards of canada, flying lotus will enjoy. one of my favorites of this year for sure.

should've mentioned that it's just one guy, producer stephen wilkinson from the UK. adds to the charm of the album i think.

i've been a fan of sujan stevens for a while now, Illinois, Michigan and Seven Swans (listening to seven swans more than the others right now) are just amazing. and just over a week ago Bon Iver - For Emma clicked with me, love that album

just getting into more stuff like this recently. fleet foxes are solid too, don't like it as much as bon iver or sufjan yet but I might eventually. listening to iron & wine at the moment (listened to our endless days about 3 times, listeing to the shepherd's dog for the first time) and i am loving it.

any recs? i'm planning to just get rest of the iron & wine stuff first but i want more music similar to the ones i've just mentioned.

Well, I'm a huge Iron & Wine fan and I like Sufjan Stevens, but nothing comes close to this masterpiece:

If you like Iron & Wine you'll definitely enjoy Elliott Smith as well:

agreed. it's weird because i write music in a lot of the styles he explores, but have never really thought to bring them together the way he does, so it's a pretty inspirational album for me.

Land of kush - Against the day. Orchestral post rock-ish, avant garde-ish, eastern influenced badassery.

Tides From Nebula - Aura

I guess this falls somewhere between post-rock and post-metal, not anything groundbreaking but nonetheless, really, really good. Saw them live recently, they were great.
