Yesterday I was thinking of how TMH wasn't that great for some reason.
Then I listened to it and yes, it is that great.
Not my favorite but still great.

Is it weird that for me it goes in sequence of newest to oldest for my favorites?(excluding pizza, which R. Borlax is clearly better than)

im doing it tomorrow... getting rid of cable tv. I am hoping it will make me be more productive... I am going to get a hdtv antenna so I can still watch the local channels. It will save me over 100 dollars a month and I can just download the shows I want to watch like Deadliest Catch and so on.

cable is a really trivial expense, i'm moving soon and don't plan on having it. or internet for that matter. i'm just going to tether, hopefully my internet usage isn't too excessive for that.

Desperate Living, but barely.
I guess it's my favorite because of the circumstances prior to.
Can't really decide on a second favorite. I guess I'd have to take a tie between AND, TMH, and R. Borlax. haha. hahaha
Pizza is probably my least favorite, but I still like it a lot.

For the conversations that have took place on this page:

R.Borlax is sooooo underrated in here! But I love it so much that it might counterbalance the neutrality y'all show towards it.

Also, I loled reading Gerardo's band lists, I know none of those, except Capsule if this is some kind of Japanese electro music. But I've never heard of any of these other bands haha. I hope you have a good time working on that second show though!

I also feel the same way about R. Borlax. I used to hate it, but now I think it's amazing.

Hahahaha the bands on the list are hardcore, grind, thrash, sludge, etc.
Some of the bands are well known here in the US and, surprisingly enough, also in Europe.
I'd recommend checking out some of the bands.

it really was awesome, i didn't see the ending coming, they really pulled it off, one of the things i think made this movie as good as the first (maybe even better) was the nostalgia effect, i was 6 when the first one came out, but still 15 years later, pixar did what they do best, told a story, and they told it GOOD

i'm back from the hellfest and it was fucking awesome.
like last year, I saw a guy with a HTB shirt. We chatted a little, he wasn't a big fan but screamed "MURDEEEER".

Anyway the best gig were : Infectious Groove (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzZdYKVDVzA i'm on stage), Carcass (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rzQIu42ugE I became fucking wild in the pit at this moment), and also Slayer (fucking war in the pit), not as good as the others but still awesome.

But the sunday evening had still a surprise for me. After the beginning of Kiss I left to see a show far better than my hopes :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlaM_1yeMlA
the video doesn't show the pit, it's like everyone was in the "it's the end of the festival so let's go fucking crazy" mood. Perfect setlist. As good as IF or Carcass.

And I'm so dead right now. Fucking sick and little wounded. Also someone stole me my money during Godflesh.

and since I know there are some BTBAM fans here : it was very good !

an ultra-funny guy we met in the camping. We met him the night before, he just told us "unbelievable, unbelievable but true." then left ahahahaha. Best night ever.

Oh, sorry, I actually left right after posting, so I missed that. If it means anything, your name was mentioned when I was talking to Erik. And I also forgot to pass along my love's greetings to them.

I'll see if I can say hello from you on Sunday, when I'll see them again, in Amsterdam this time.

Oh well, as long as I'm talking about their show:
It was a nice venue, with a nice low and wide stage. Erik said before the show that the soundguy was good too, but I thought the vocals were too soft.
When I came in David recognized me and asked what's up, shortly followed by Erik high-five-ing me. Daniel and Nathan didn't seem to recognize me at all however, I guess it has something to do with the activity we shared. ;)
I talked quite a lot with Erik, on various subjects including the photobook, dutch politics, and his signature cutsman move, which he did not perform this time, by the way.

The show almost got cut short because the MIDI-device(?)'s batteries went dead and it looked like there were no replacements for a while, but someone managed to find some. The played Kangarooster Meadows for a birthday boy, as requested by his friends, followed by a hearty "Happy Birthday, Bitch."

Approximate setlist:

Heroes Die
Birdo
Cloudwalker
Desperate Living
The Failure Of All Things
Horse The Song
Rape Escape
Shapeshift
Kangarooster Meadows (Jeremiah's first play of it, judging by Erik mentioning the keys to him shortly beforehand)
Bunnies (Nathan: the only song we have that has no meaning at all.)
Murder
Cutsman

When I last saw them, they had to get to their hotel in 15 minutes, before it closed.

It took me like 4 beers to gather the courage to talk to Erik the first time... I said I have to say hi to you or something and he said Kevin? The second time he was expecing me... it was awesome. I am glad my girlfriend stayed at the hotel, I got to hang with Erik and Nathan and Arthur from Arsonists.... best time ever.
