Anyone else feel addicted to buying CD's? I have plenty of music I could listen to, but the only thing I've bought in the past 3-4 weeks is the new CC. I've been trolling Amazon looking for something cool on AutoRip. lol

Not I. I never listen to CDs, except for in the car, but that's usually only a pretty short car ride anyhow. Vinyl on the other hand, I could agree with.

Though, the only way I would buy a CD is if it's from a band I thoroughly enjoy and there's something special to it.

The sad part is owning faggoty coolster saucers is as reasonable as owning CDs given no analog format is the future of music. There's some holdovers in contemporary technology that still make owning CDs over vinyl sensible but it's going to be hard to argue that in maybe a decade.

On a visceral level I'm with you though, if you own vinyl you're probably "that guy" and you should give your lunch money to me.

CD's are a better size. I can't tolerate my music being larger than my face. If you like large artwork HOLD IT CLOSER!!

Maybe I've got to talk to a professional about my issues. I'm just uncomfortable around big discs.

Also sliding a disc into a sleeve is fucking primitive.

analog soundwaves sound different than digital soundwaves though. This is fact. I'm not saying one sounds better than the other.

I was fortunate enough to move in with friends who are music fanatics like me, one has an awesome oldschool soundsystem and the other has a record player, so that enabled me to start buying vinyl with no real big investment. If I was living by myself I probably wouldn't spend my spare cash on a record player.
