PRESS STATEMENT: "Postponed" DISTURBING FORESIGHTS album confirmed to be released!

The former members Iwan (vocals), Koen (bass and backing vox), Cor (drums and backing vox) and Bas (guitars) of the late Dutch punk/hxc pioneers DISTURBING FORESIGHTS will finally see their 1993 recordings by the name of "DE-GRUNGED" released. Recently an agreement with DEITY DOWN RECORDS was inked, which enables the label to do justice to the album, which should already have been a classic in its genre way back. Both the label as well as the musicians involved are thrilled to be able to take part in this.

Currently the release date is slated around March of 2008. The original 1993 takes which were captured at EXCESS in Rotterdam, Netherlands will be mastered by their original producer PIETER “PIDAH” KLOOS (Peter Pan Speedrock, Anarcrust, Motorpsycho, Beef a.o.) at THE VOID studio in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Day one Graphic Artist Rob will be taking care of the
Artwork.

In the meantime, one track from the forthcoming album, "This 1's 4 u" , will be featured on the "THE HARDER THE BETTER VOL. 14" compilation CD by TURKEY VULTURE RECORDS from Brownsville, WI, U.S.A. Until then, a number of songs, both old and old new ones, are posted on DISTURBING FORESIGHTS' official MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/disturbingforesights.

De oud-leden Iwan (vocals), Koen (bass and backing vox), Cor (drums and backing vox) and Bas (guitars) van de voormalige Nederlandse punk/hxc pioniers DISTURBING FORESIGHTS zullen eindelijk hun uit 1993 stammende werk "DE-GRUNGED" alsnog posthuum zien verschijnen. Onlangs werd een overeenkomst met DEITY DOWN RECORDS ondertekend, waardoor aan een nooit eerder uitgekomen klassieker nu recht gedaan kan worden. Alle betrokkenen zijn hier bijzonder verheugd over.

Rond maart van 2008 mag de plaat verwacht worden. De nummers, ooit ingeblikt en geproduceerd door PIETER "PIDAH" KLOOS (onder meer Peter Pan Speedrock, Motorpsycho, Anarcrust, Beef) in EXCESS te Rotterdam zullen afgestofd en gemasterd worden door diezelfde PIETER KLOOS in THE VOID studio te Eindhoven.

"This 1's 4 U", een nummer van de aanstaande plaat zal daarnaast binnenkort verschijnen op de "THE HARDER THE BETTER VOL. 14" compilatie van TURKEY VULTURE RECORDS uit Brownsville, Wiscincin, USA. Herewith Disturbing Foresights and Deity Down Records reveal the cover artwork and tracklisting for their album “De-Grunged”. The newly mastered CD, originally recorded back in 1993 at Excess Studio (Rotterdam, Holland) with producer Pieter Kloos, will be released at the end of March 2008 through the Holland based label.

Middels dit nieuwsbericht onthullen Disturbing Foresights en Deity Down Records het cover artwork en de track list van de “De-Grunged” CD die eind maart 2008 via het Bredase label zal verschijnen. De opnieuw gemasterde plaat werd in 1993 opgenomen in de Rotterdamse Excess Studio met producer Pieter Kloos.
