Yeah those are going to be fantastic for sure... Swan's last album was great, and seeing them live blew me away, and I can't imagine what Justin Broadrick is going to come up with for the new Godflesh record.

care to elaborate? the last folk-esque album they released was The Burning World and that was in 1989. He also said that he wish he had never made that album. I think he'll continue with the style of "My Father..."

on another note, new Napalm Death leaked.

For some reason I was thinking My Father was more folky. I haven't listened to it in a year, so I'm listening to it now and I think I was just thinking about Reeling The Liars In and Jim and how I didn't like those songs at all.

Standard grindcore, nothing that really stands out. I listened to the new album yesterday and it felt somewhat bland.

the here and now is their best imo. hollow crown gets boring after a few songs because its so monotonous

i dont get people who want bands to sound the same every record.

Yeah it's a double album! Apparently more melodic approach (I thought their stuff already was pretty melodic!) and "less difficult to play". Kinda worried it might disappoint.
