holy shit i bought a CD from Ben Sharp like 6 or 7 years ago. it was some fuckin' sweet ambient stuff. it was on a burned CD with a black line drawn on it with fine point sharpie that kinda looked like clouds, kinda looked like mtns. I'm almost positive i sent him $5 and a strawberry flavored condom for his troubles.

I'm loving this, surprised by how soft it is but I really like it. Also surprised by vocals on the last track, is that Ben Sharp singing or someone else I wonder.

i think it's him, he's never had any guest appearances before on any of his work. plus he said he was obsessed with sufjan steven's age of adz, and those vocals have a similar feel to sufjan.

I've been waiting to write how I feel about this album, because at first I was kinda "meh" with it.

Since then I've spun it a few more times and I can confidently say that this album rules. Really happy with how this came out.

I can dig it. Swear to god for the last three years his shit has not left my list of go-to music every single time. Beacons was so goddamned good, I had bought a CD for myself only to order another one to send to my old guitarist back in the US. I'd love for him to consider releasing his old albums together even if combined into a signle package.

Then again, I'd kill for a hard copy of his mellower shit under BM Sharp as well.
