I like Neurosis, but I've always found Isis more interesting.

Wavering Radiant is awesome. The only reason I could see people bitching about it is because they have lost some of that "sludge," sound. It's not better or worse than pre ITAOT stuff, it's just different. This is the album that should have come after Panopticon because ITAOT is a pretty bland album. This is far more melodic and creative.

anyone working on tabs? ive figured out most of the first two songs and the last as well. apparently, they're tuned to Ab but with a capo on the first, or they drop tuning down a half step for the last half of the album. i'll see if i can get something going in guitar pro.

I got that issue in the mail last week. They break the article down into five different sections about the band members. The only mention of them going on hiatus is in the Aaron Harris section. He says they might take a break after touring and doesn't know much other than that. That's it.

I disagree. Magazine sales have already dropped a ton over the last few years with the internet. With the added effect of the economy they have probably seen people drop expenses like subscriptions, thus their focus market is to appeal to people who aren't subscribers (like always, but even moreso now). To attract new people, they have to stretch the truth and put headlines like that one.

Yeah, I get that, but I don't think they should use such misleading headlines if it isn't the case that they are breaking up. One member of an entire band going on a hiatus does not equate to an entire band quitting, thus making Wavering Radiant their last album.

People have received their Japanese cds so be on the lookout for a 6 minute bonus track called 'Way Through Woven Branches'. Was supposed to be on the CD but the band had to take one song off for some stupid reason.

Hopefully this appears online somewhere tonight.
