sorry about how long this tab is taking. ive been too busy with stupid school. ive decided ill post what ive got so far, which is most of it. Theres still a bit to do and there'd be a few mistakes (im planning to go over everything once more to check for them). Some parts only have one guitar, some parts need the fingerings changed. But i think everything is there at the moment. When its fully done ill covert it to power tab, too.

Yeah all good. I'll get around to finishing Our Evolutionary Architecture soon, just taking a bit of a break from tabbing Psycroptic stuff atm.

Well I've gotten back into it, and finished Experiment in Transience properly. I basically did the whole song again because I was finding a few mistakes. And also because I'm obsessed with things being perfect, so I literally went over each note (left and right channels) with a fine tooth comb.
I'm just sorting out some fingerings now. It should be done by tonight.
I've done it in Guitar Pro, but I'll type it into Power Tab too, for you, Tim. You might need to clean up the spacings on it though; I've never really used PT much.
Also, I'll have a Guitar Pro one with drums, too. But that'll take a bit longer.

Hey, that's sweet...... Although to be honest, I'm a recent GP convert.... both programs are good but I use GP5 more these days. Send 'em over when you're done and I'll chuck them up on ROG. Cheers.

So do you want the Power Tab version then?
Btw, it's not completely finished yet. I haven't gotten around to those touch ups I spoke of earlier today.
Definitely tomorrow ;)

Here it is!

I've literally gone over every note on both channels,
and I am very confident that this tab is at least 95%
exact. Of course there may be discrepancies between
Joe's actual fingerings and mine, but there's no way of
knowing.

I'm not too sure on the 3rd guitar. I can definetly hear
something, though.

I'm doing the drums at the moment, I'll put that one up for you to replace on your site when it's ready.

I've stuck with Guitar Pro 5

Here's the complete tab!

I'm pretty happy with how the drums turned out. I also decided to do the bass guitar, but it's really quiet, so I'm not too confident that every note is right.

Here's the Guitar Pro tab:

And here's a midi file in case anyone just wants to listen:
http://www.mediafire.com/?0ugiit90v8z

And Tim, feel free to add it to your site. Does it matter if it's not Power Tab like the others?

Nah man, not at all, thanks for the tab. I actually tried to put it up a couple of weeks ago but we just changed how we archive tabs and I couldn't get it right. I know now so I'll get to it bro.

There some errors in the merchants of deceit tab!

First, its not 4/4 at the beginning but a "three 16th on a beat" feel.
So it should be a 3/8.

The second part is wrong in case of tempo and notes: It's too fast because you notated it in the same 4/4 tempo like part1. But part1 is 3 on a beat, part2 is 4 on a beat. Your part1 is actually notated 2 on a beat wich means your pace is too fast in part 2. Also you have one 16th group too much.

Riff 7 is also wrong. It should be a 12/8 then a 2/8 then a 12/8 then 2 9/8 then 3 6/8. As a follow of this, the Fis in Bar 104 and the F in Bar 105 are a 8th too short

Riff 8 and 9 are basically right, but it should be also 3 on a beat.

If you like i can tab the parts to show what I mean but I think its clear.

Why do you say 3/8 instead of 12/8 for the 1st part?

Of course, you could write 12/8. Then there would be 7 Bars of 12/8 in the first part (until it is repeated).

There may be several possibilities but I would write it like this:
|3/8|12/8|6/8|6/8| [or |3/8|3/8| instead of the |6/8| because the first triplet has also its own bar] 12/8|12/8|6/8[which again could be two 3/8]
12/8|15/8:|

That looks good, but from playing the song in my head, I think it emphasises the 0h6h7 part as being the 1st beat, so I think that should be the 1st thing in whatever bar it would fall into.

Can anyone tab out Horde in Devolution? The riff at 1:15 has got to be one of the best I've ever heard.

agreed on Horde in Devolution. that is one of their best licks right there, specially when the harmony kicks in. also, what about Repairing the Dimensional Cluster? some really good grooving riffs on it as well.

My favorite from SoF. Someone (I want to say brett, but I could be wrong) tabbed it on GP. It isn't finished, but it has all the riffs (and drums!). Here it is http://www.mediafire.com/?gjmmzyj5m5d
