they eat milk and cheese basically. but not meat. they keyword here is BI-PRODUCTS.

vegetarian - doesn't eat meat.

vegan - doesn't eat meat, eggs, milk, cheese, honey, wear leather, etc.

btw how old are you? i think that's weird you wouldn't know that living in california and everything...and your...quote....

Well I had always known what a vegan is, and I knew vegetarians didn't eat meat, it's just for some reason I heard the term 'vegan' a lot later than I heard the term 'vegetarian', so I just assumed 'vegan' was a shortened way of saying vegetarian.
I'm 17. The Masvidal quote I got from a live audio clip of one of their demos.. he said that right before introducing "Useful Human Waste"
