MP3 - Inception Of The Flagitious

The drums might be a little loud, but this is pretty close to the final mix. It's almost ready to be mastered.
Hope you guys like it. Inception Of The Flagitious - MP3

Inception Of The Flagitious

Fated for eons our coming
Our accession forms the terminus
Trailing astral currents
Divergent from the locus of conception
The expanse of microcosmic perception
Awaiting the genesis of forces anew
The plenteous void again to be conquered
Brought to its knees in perpetual subservience

Infintesimal energies ebb and flow
Guiding the altruistic hand of creation
Revolving cogs of the great machine
Unparalleled degree of ubiquitous automation

Conceived to receive the fruits of subjugation
Proceed to deceive the will of creation
Looming beyond an abhorrent inundation
Moving procession of unquenchable conflagration
Exponentially expanding in every direction
With nothing to stem this truculent infection
Bleak and inclement bodes this caustic inception
Of those who take species and worlds for collection

Triturating populations, shattering their will
Exploiting their weakness, rejoicing the kill
Assimilating peoples, consuming our fill

Gravid with malice and gorging on spite
Feasting on sorrow, proclaiming our might
Gravid with malice and gorging on spite
Swallowing worlds, ignoring their plight

Advancing from the vast expanse
One consciousness crossing the void
Our accession forms the terminus
To render creation destroyed

Gravid with malice and gorging on spite
Swallowing worlds, ignoring their plight

Advancing from the vast expanse
One consciousness crossing the void
Our accession forms the terminus
To render creation destroyed

Foretold through consecution
of celestial isochronism
Trailing astral currents
Divergent from the locus of conception
The expanse of microcosmic perception
Awaiting the genesis of forces anew
The plenteous void again to be conquered
Brought to its knees in perpetual subservience

Fuck yeah Mason! I'm way stoked on the new mix too! Those speed metal kicks sound a lot better for Element's style IMO, and the snare is sooooo much better now! I'm fucking stoked! It sounds ripping!!!! Can't wait to hear the mastered version!!! Holy shit!!!

P.S. - Matt was really drunk last night and was going off about your riffs (in a good way), it was funny.

Wow, that song was totally wicked! Good job to Element, KC, and Legion Studios. Sounds really, really good! The vocals sound great too. I do agree that the drums could/should be turned down a notch. But anyways, can't wait to check out the entire CD when it's ready.

Yeah, Matt's all over the mix. He wants it to be an even sounding production just like we do.

first time I heard this song, I couldn't really comprehend to much of what was going on (mainly because of the mix), but after hearing it severeal times now it definetly slays. The kicks sound very much like the ones on "Conquoring The Throne"... which is quite a good thing I think, I love that kick sound. The guitar tone is very raw, it works well for being in standard tuning too. Overall I hear inlfuences like Deicide, Origin, Hate Eternal, etc. I can't really tell when you and the bassist trade off vocals (everything seems low in the mix aside from the kick and snare) But Mason, your vocals sound WAY better on this then they did on the EP in my opinion. Seriously can't wait for a brutal bands package deal on this!!!!!!

Wow...post a mix with the guitars up higher. This is so damn good Mason. Is your EP available through Brutal Bands or how could I get that?

Is the the 2120? If so, that thing fucking dominates. How do you think it would handle D or C tuning?

Not a drum machine. KC from Odious/Decrepit played on the album.

It was the 2120. It can handle any tuning and not sound muddy.
