I thought this band was some standard crappy melodeath. Gave it a chance and was surprised how good it was. They are innovative in the way the riffs and melodies interwine. It sometimes sound like opposite spectras but then it all melt together like a tasty sandwich. The riffs are great and the overall playing ridicilous. It manages what most bands in that genre doesn't - to balance the soft and harsh elements without sounding goofy or pushed. Thanks for the recommendation...

before i heard it i could picture almost exactly how it would sound based on this description. "almost" because i thought the "death metal" would be more than a few grunts and a few sporadic riffs. this is pretty much slightly heavier djent, i don't hear anything innovative.

still, the music is ok, but the drum sound is beyond shit. Failures for Gods has a godly drum sound compared to this. damn, i've heard bedroom projects with drum machines with a better drum sound

Tried listening to it, didn't get past the 2nd track. Maybe I wasn't in the mood for it. Some parts were good but the rest was not my cup of tea. Over-produced and thin.

First track isn't bad at all. Besides the shitty drum samples (which isn't as noticeable behind the loud synth parts), I reckon it's pretty good.
Second track I didn't dig, it's just not my cup of tea is all.
To me it sounds like what you'd get if Beneath The Massacre and Exivious had a baby.

all in all I think this album is fantastic because Fallujah finally seem to have found their own style and this style is really unique and refreshing
the only bad thing is the drum sound indeed...
