inspired my name too. I do agree it's been way too long and I got sick of waiting. That being said I've been revisiting Onset and Epitaph recently and some of those riffs are the tits.

Same for me! Still the best show I have seen by them probably.

About critizising solos, imo this is VERY VERY unneccesary and gives the one being critizised the feeling that the fan just wants to say something bad, so he doesn#t feel like a fanboy, etc...

This show was amazing, u don't just tell him as the first thing that the one tapping part wasn't good. U express the good vibes u got from the show, etc......believe me, criticism like that sucks right after a show. It comes off as very rude!

HIDE

ALL THE

JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWS

Necrophagist are still awesome in my book, although I grew bored with Epitaph rather quickly. Onset rules.

Ah yes, FTC V in May 2002. I was there too. Way before I got to know many of you peeps.

In my case, after their set, I complimented Muhammed on his platform shoes. Does comes across better?

haha no, but really....this concert was just fantastic and had a great vibe. Crystal Mountain easily seemed the worst song for that set........can't wait for shitstorm lol

There is no use critizising when the concert really made you smile and headbang all the time. The tightness and flawless delivery of this ultra complex material was just mindblowing in my eyes.....no use in complaining about small mistakes.

This.

Never really understood the detractors of his playing or his riffing. He's on a completely other level... just insane. No one riffs like he does, and seeing them perform when I was a teenager was absolutely mind blowing.

I actually preferred his short hair because he didn't look as trashy. I respect metal musicians who don't fall into that trap of thinking they have to look a certain way to play their music. Aside from the fact that their phenomenal players, that's one of the reasons I respect Muhammad (or at one point), Tosin, and Erlend so much. People should let their music speak for them instead of relying so much on looks and silly shit like that.
