So I decided to stop being a goddamn dirty hipster and borrowed Breaking Bad off my sisters boyfriend - I only watched the first episode but I must admit I was pretty impressed. Actually looking forward to watching the rest of it ... I also watched a few episodes of a series called "An Idiot Abroad" - Seriously the funniest show I have watched in years. I cant even remember the last time I laughed so much !!!

It gets better. The best part is that you're going to find yourself hating characters you think you love, and loving characters you think you hate.

I could not stand Hank at all at the beginning, (Walt's B.I.L.) but there comes a point in the 4th season where I was fucking cheering him on and really disliking Walt. The boundaries of good vs. bad blur very heavily and that's been a huge draw for me.

I'm waiting until the series is done and will buy a box set if they do one hopefully. They'd be crazy not to.

Alright, I'm interested in getting some opinions here. By now most of you may or may not have gotten wind of the dude that found a post on FB that his daughter wrote and ended up making a video response to her and proceeding to unload several hollow points into her laptop.

Me personally, I'm 100% behind the guy. He warned her before that if she kept acting stupid, she was going to regret it. The more I read through his FB page in response to the whole thing, the more I respect the guy.

I fully expect to see some dissenting opinions on this, and I'm looking forward to it.

This has so much potential.

Since Rockstar announced GTA V fans of the franchise have been interested in many aspects of the game, such as a release date, characters, the story and graphics. There is another feature of the game that seems to have been overlooked and that is speech technology, which for some gamers is as important as the graphics themselves.

Having already covered the issue of MotionScan and how it’s more than likely not going to feature in Grand Theft Auto V, there are other ways to make the game more realistic and how the characters face reacts when they are talking will be of great importance to some gamers.

There is a new technology called Speech Graphics and could be a better system than MotionScan due to that technology requiring less storage space, which is a bigger issue for Xbox 360 users because it would not require as many discs as a game does with MotionScan. The team behind Speech Graphics would be able to work with Rockstar very closely due to the fact they are also based in Edinburgh.

While the technology involved is very complex the idea is not, as their multi-lingual solution uses muscle dynamics and acoustic analysis in order to manipulate a characters face in order for it to match each and every word being spoken.

a band im involved with is finishing our full length, LOATHSOME and it will be out on Razorback Records. with members of Decrepitaph, WoodenStake and Kaiju. So the band asked me to record some demo vox a few years ago. 5 tracks in total. we all agreed it sounded pretty cool. We then did 12 new tracks for a full length. Bass is being worked on and next is layout/art. should be out later this year. you can check out 2 of the demo tracks on facebook:

He warned his daughter previously that the next time she got stupid, he was going to put a hole through her laptop. For him it was about keeping his word. It's just a piece of hardware. The message that it sends by following up on what you'd promised makes it clear. You are only as good as the word you keep. It's a piece of hardware that was of no value to him, and it was a lesson for his daughter on many levels.

You can call him an idiot if you like, I'll maintain that if more adults didn't take their children's shit like I see all the time, they wouldn't be a bunch of fucked up little bitches.

Growing up, we had it pretty goddamned easy considering all things. These kids have it as easy as fuck and still they expect the world to be handed to them. Now, everyone is a special snowflake, oh there's a reason they're acting out, their failure as children is our failure as parents, wah fucking wah.

Fuck all that, the older I get, the more sense my grandparents and my parents make (my dad doesn't count, love the guy but his tweaker past destroyed my life as a kid). Fuck this new age school of parenting. It's working so well and all, nothing like hearing a 10-12yo child call his mom "fucking cunt" because she won't buy him whatever he wanted and her not doing anything about it. To varying degrees I see shit like that all the time. It's disgusting, and if putting some holes through her precious fixes that little attitude problem, then it's worth it.

I dont know if any of you guys are into the Scottish band - Man Must Die, but they just got a new drummer ... Todd Fucken Hansen from Australia ! He played in The Berzerker, From These Wounds, F.U.C, Sleigher, ROME and about a million other bands. I cant wait to hear their new shit with him on drums. Hopefully that will also mean an Aussie tour !

I had an uncle who was seriously a fanatic for that book, it made for many hilarious situations both before and after the prediction fizzled. Haven't seen that guy in years.
