For some reason the period where I could not go without HORSE for a week has ended, and I don't know Why!!!.... uhm, I mean when.

I still listen to Desperate Living at least every couple weeks particularly the first half. The rest of their stuff gets a lot less play tho.

I listen to less heavy music in general nowadays and a lot more hip hop and dance/pop music.

I can go months without listening to HTB at times, doesn't mean I like them any less . It's just a nice break from something I really love. Plus it's neat to explore new music and come back to old favorites.

the new Mars Volta is the only Mars Volta album I like. I was very surprised. I like it when the singer shuts the fuck up or at least his voice is buried underneath a bunch of effects. that happens a lot on this album so I like it more.

my favorite album from this year is Lil B's God's Father mixtape

and then there's this guy's album which i just discovered and fell in love with

Has anyone heard the new album from the band Daniel Pouliot's been playing in as of late? They're called Ancestors and the album is In Dreams and Time. Sooo good. Reminds me of like Neurosis covering Pink Floyd.
