Ob(Servant) Vocals
Usually I'm not too picky with vocals.
When I first listened to Observant, I was kinda dissapointed, I hated the yelling vocals. But eventually it grew on me, and I like them, in parts though. Though I do think they were excessively used in the album. The thing I did really enjoy was the really deep low growls, those fit quite nicely. So all in all, I'm hoping for the next album, that there's less yelling, and that they're more used in fitting parts, and bring back some of the other vocals from Symbols. Thats just my opinion, whats everyone else think? |

I really like the yelling in parts, but I think a Symbols + Ob(Servant) Approach would be good. I actually really loved the bree-esque(lol) vocals on Symbols.

The vocal style for Ob(servant) suits and compliments the music rather then trying to recreate what Chalky did.

I think a little more variety is always called for. His performance of the old songs shows a nice balance between his own deal and Chalky's style.
