Word, but now that I'm in the UK for uni I manage to pick up quite a lot of shit at a reasonable price. Most of the stuff is overpriced back in HK cause of the import costs, and shipping is equally expensive and painfully slow when waiting on preorders .

Good idea.

I love buying CD's, and messing around with my collection. For me the tangible part is really important.
Cool idea for a thread, if anyone actually contributes. I've got nothing at the moment.
I agree, especially the messing with my collection part.

I'd rather have a badass vinyl collection than a cd collection

Vinyl is only cool for collecting. Not only do I buy CD's, but they are the only way I listen to music. Can't exactly carry a record player around in my pocket.

I burn CD's to listen to in my car, and listen to vinyl when I'm home. Some people are fans of analog sound, so to say its just for collectors value isn't necessarily true, because my records have gotten plenty of play, except for recently because I need a new record player.

www.opengraveshop.com has some cheap deals, bunch of CDs for $2. I didn't find much interesting stuff there (last Deathchain, Desecration, Sapremia, first Mithras for $2 is a nice deal and maybe some more) but you may do.
good thread idea!
the new Depresy album is a special digipack (pentagram shape after you open it)...

edit: mp3 fans only should do another thread with their favourite blogs and troll there
