I think it was only disgust, but I'm surprised to see anyone disappointed with the new Baroness or Kylesa. I thought it was their best releases. As for Isis, it wasn't disappointing at all - sure, it has nothing on Panopticon but very few albums do.

The last Blood Red Throne, Souls Of Damnation, not bad but below the previous two. I like the little winks oiels done at Cannibal Corpse (Human Fraud - Make Them Suffer) and Morbid Angel (Demand - Where The Slime Live).

I agree.
In The Absence of Truth had a couple of songs that I liked, but as a whole the album didn't do it for me.
Wavering Radiant on the other hand is flawless from beginning to end and, at least in my opinion, equally as good as Oceanic and Panopticon.

I love Wavering Radiant and In the Absence of Truth is probably my favorite Isis album, fail me if you want, but I like it more than Panopticon or Oceanic.

Augury let me down a bit. After years of listening to 'Skyless' and salivating endlessly in anticipation, only to find out that the rest of the material isn't quite on par with it... I did RAGE. The Album is really good but expectations weren't met.

that they totally softened up. i loved IMC and Chamber..., but this sounds nothing like either. it has absolutely no industrial atmosphere (still some semi-industrial parts, you can hear the influence, but it's waaaay too melodic to convey any sort of bleak, industrial atmosphere). right now, this is my biggest disappointment this year :(
