Its funny, I had to give someone back the record player I was using, and I STILL am constantly buying records, possibly enough that I could've already bought a new one. I had a really nice, digital, usb one too. Maybe I should look on craigslist.

I bought like every Bathtub Shitter 7" some years back as well as Discordance Axis-The Necropolitan 7", and some live Dead 7"...like 2 weeks after my record player died. Since then its been only pic-disks which I own on CD already so they would be unplayed anyhow. other than that I've chilled on vinyl. I'll never catch up now :[

yeah it's one of those situations "once i thought i was out,vinyl brought me back in" about 1/3 of my stuff is on vinyl and it has the best sound so i've always had a turntable

I have somewhere around 40 GB of music digitally, so my vinyl collection will probably never match that, but if I buy an album, its on vinyl, I don't really have a use for new cd's. I have spent a good amount on vinyl, several hundred dollars, I am a fan of analog sound. Unfortunately there's no good record store in Houston, but a killer distro with tons of rare shit just moved here, and its going to drive me broke!

I use to be obsessed with vinyl (Rick can confirm this) but it got to a point to where it was crippling my bank account and felt more like a hassle than a hobby to maintain. So I am in the process of unloading all my shit except for a select few, pose til death.

And I could never live on 40gb of music, you poor soul.

i know a few people that buy vinyl even though they don't have a turntable. My favorite albums/bands i usually try to get them on both CD and vinyl formats:Sabbath,Celtic Frost,Black Flag,Test Dept.,Soilent Green,EHG,etc But sometimes just getting the CD is easier and or cheaper

I figured you would say something to that accord, you seem like you would have 100+GB, its a collection matter, I've lost all of my music several times. To alot of people, I still have ALOT of music.
