Game On

lotsa gamers on here so I wanted to make a thread about what game you are currently playing, what platform, and a brief summary of the game. If there is enough interest, I'll sticky it

Ninja Gaiden 2: 360
Awesome game, truly one of the most violent to date, you pretty much reduce every enemy to limbless mounds of goo. Very challenging, straightforward, has a feel of old school games. the story is retarded but the game itself is fun as shit

MemphisRaines 06-09-2008 10:29 AM

gears of war-I already beat it on every level but playing through again since the game is so badass
Call of Duty 4-Just borrowed this from a friend. I am not very far but its pretty good so far
Orange Box-Collection of Half Life games....need I saw more?

Nihilist 06-09-2008 10:34 AM

Age of Conan, new MMORPG. Very disappointing so far, definitely not living up to its name of a "WoW killer". Buggy as hell, boring as shit, overhyped combat system. Bleh, waste of $70.

Spew 06-09-2008 10:34 AM

Assassins Creed.

It's getting a bit repetitive...

Nihilist 06-09-2008 10:36 AM

oh and WoW of course.

Woah, you think? I'm quite happy with it. Sure it's buggy, but everything is when it's launched and this thing hasn't been live for more than three weeks.

Yeah... true. I don't know, I just see it as being a temporary "big thing". Everyone is playing it 'cos it is new. Granted, I only have a level 45 guardian and a level 25 Tempest of Set, but I'm not enjoying it so much. I'm only playing it still 'cos I don't want to waste the free 1 month subscription, haha.

Spew: http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/ch...oth&n=Zaraxiel

Attempting Sunwell now.

Mol 06-09-2008 11:01 AM

Mainly old Atari XE/XL, C64 and Amiga games.

I play that every day still. Usually with Barca since Henry, Eto'o, Messi and Ronaldinho are all way too fast.

tenorbass 06-09-2008 11:05 AM

My 360 got the red ring yesterday :frown:
I reached 5th prestige on call of duty 4. I hope that wont be lost now.

Have you tried the group PvP? I'm having loads of fun with that. It seems like a game you can take to without having to spend an eternity getting shiny items, much unlike wow. I abhor the idea of having a game become a job, and back when I lived with an ex-girlfriend in a shitty relationship I had nothing better to do than wow so I have a fairly good impression of what that implies.

Nope, no PvP yet. I will give it a bit longer. It isn't much of a grind compared to most MMO's I have played, but it also doesn't have much content as of yet.

I do play WoW alot, but I have a job and live with my girlfriend, and still raid 4 times a week.

Warhawk : PS3

One of the best fucking online experiences ever! 32 player dogfights are intense, and team balance is (for the most part) absolutely spot-on.

Raad 06-09-2008 11:16 AM

Castlevania: Harmony Of Dissonance on Game Boy Advance emulator

Symphony Of Night was way better but this is pretty cool too.

aaarrrrgggghhh...what a dickmove! I can't believe they didn't release this for the PS3...looks like such an awesome game. The first one was just spectacular as well, combat mechanics are the definition of badass.

Impressive. My ex had no real hobbies and made it a bit of a quest to keep up that sort of attendance. I still object to paying for the privilege to slaver away for 6 hours every night, hahah. Especially when you're not in complete control of the outcome, since idiots are legion.

I'd give AoC four or five months before dismissing it completely. It has a lot of post-natal defects at the moment, but everything did. WoW had literally nothing to do once you reached 60 for about four or five months.

Advance Wars: Dark Conflict
DS
I liked the previous onces, so this one is a good one as well.

myster6 06-09-2008 11:24 AM

Okami on wii. It's so damn good that I'd say it's almost as good as zelda, I'm about 90% done with it.

not sure, I only played that one briefly and remember it being retardedly difficult. this one is a challenge as well, but very playable

General-L 06-09-2008 11:42 AM

Quake 2 deathmatch

m138jewski 06-09-2008 11:42 AM

you guys want this stickied? it would eliminate the need for making new game threads, we could always just refer to this one

Erland 06-09-2008 11:42 AM

patapon,GOW-chains of olympus and zelda 3 on the psp. MoHaa and quake 3 as usual for the PC.

So it's easier. Although Ninja Gaiden was hard, it was still a fun game! Man, I have to give it all on normal, that was hard enough.:emot-LOL:

I'm still working my way through that one on the PS2. Fucking cool game.

Other than that I've been playing lots of Lego Star Wars, Mario Kart & Pokemon Emerald on DS. The Warriors game on PS2 is awesome too.

I'm at the part where you get on orca the whale and you have to find a whirlpool, but I haven't figured it out yet. And I'm trying to locate all the stray beads, I hope it's worth it.
