Flaming Chaos 11-17-2007 08:10 PM

haha, its so i can make a playlist on my ipod, prepare for it a bit more lol

Gunface 11-19-2007 02:55 AM

The tour doesn't start until the 27th.

Flaming Chaos 11-19-2007 09:47 AM

YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!! lol

lickmyplate 11-19-2007 10:11 AM

I allready have tickets for 8th dec. Columbia Club show! Can't wait to get on stage when Dreaming In Dog Years is played.

Is The Red Chord before or after Job For A Cowboy?

Flaming Chaos 11-19-2007 04:27 PM

before, it sucks, i cant believe they're bottom. im getting up for dreaming in dog years if i can.
i got my tickets for december 15th on my desk :)

lickmyplate 11-20-2007 05:25 AM

If I could do the thing... The first artist would be The Red chord, the second will be The Red Chord and the third will be also... The Red Chord. Maybe a little The Black Dahlia Murder and Job For A Cowboy somewhere in the middle, when you wanna go buy a beer or something:biggrin:

Flaming Chaos 11-20-2007 09:46 AM

hahaha that'd fair rock lol
i reckon the red chord just make a tour where they stay up on stage for like 3-4 hours and play their entire back catalogue of songs live.

lickmyplate 11-20-2007 12:40 PM

Heheh, yeah! That'd be cool too.

By the way...
...The Red Chord song "Like A Train Through A Pigeon" should be recorded again to get better quality of sound. It's pretty awesome with it's grooves and blasts.

Flaming Chaos 11-20-2007 01:31 PM

whatcha talkin' 'bout fool!
the entire fused album should be re-recorded that way you can see past the recording quality and realise the true brilliance of the record. some people cant get into it because of the recording quality and its a shame, they're missing out. only recently have i got into it and i couldnt before because of the quality.

lickmyplate 11-20-2007 01:48 PM

Well, you're right! It would be cool, but I doubt, that this "Old album with better sound" thing will ever happen.
I was more thinkin 'bout their future "Best of Red Chord" album (which could be in stores someday), where all songs like "Antman", "Black Santa", "Dread Prevailed", "Blue Line Cretin", "Nihilist", "Like A Train Through A Pigeon" etc. are listed.

Flaming Chaos 11-20-2007 04:39 PM

you never know, i even heard gunface (i think it was him) saying "i prefer fused" in the making of prey for eyes part 2. so you never know.
and if the best of trc is ever made, it has to include birdbath, upper decker and breed the cancer haha :D
love those 3 songs

It's that live mp3 on the Fused CD that has the supreme quality.

Re-recordings of old/classic material has to have a special special something to it, because re-recording removes that element of captured in time, you know?
I'm all for it...
and all against it.

GravesOfTheFathers 11-20-2007 08:10 PM

I think Fused has awesome production. It's so...brutal. The bass drums are spine-shattering. The only bad thing is the guitar sounds a little tinny, but besides that it's perfect.

lickmyplate 11-21-2007 10:08 AM

I'd like to add that Guy's vocals are now more brutal than before. So the re-recording would be interesting. Surely not the same as the old "Like ATrain Through A Pigeon", but I think that it might be even better.

imo he's watered down his style. I like the new stuff but fused>clients and pfe.

Flaming Chaos 11-21-2007 06:44 PM

yea his voice was far more growly and wierd in fused however theres so much more anger and violence in it now as well as technique. his voice now has a much more mature and distinct sound to it than before and i prefer it.

GravesOfTheFathers 11-21-2007 07:45 PM

His vocals were deeper before, but sounds more pissed off now. I wish he would do some old-school growling though. Gunface's growls are great but I still enjoy Guy's old stuff as well.

Agreed. Fused is one of, if not their best album. Something about DIDY makes you want to just rip someone's face off.

But hey, to each his own.

Leet speak. Internet discrimination. Not directly towards you, just everyone in general.

Oh, tred lightly so that one will not hurt the feelings of others, who may reserve the right to hurt yours.
