Drumming is sick. Period. He's decently talented, but it's his chemistry with the rest of the band that makes it really good.

drummer is good, but very underwhelming considering the amount of shred on the other instruments.

i could never get into the vocals. there are parts where it's like he's going for an aretha franklin thing and it does not work.

nah man. There is an entire section where he just rolls sixteenths on the kicks for like 40 seconds at the end of the dissentience (sp?) it is sufficient for the arena style finale, but there is a severe lack of creativity... I do not need incredible jazz technique or inhuman speed, but his output is merely to support the others... snare snare snare... boring imo. And the "blast beats" in one of the later songs are just incompetent.
