I've had Altered Genesis for a while now, and I have to say it's one of the best death metal albums I've heard in a long time. I haven't heard any of their other stuff though, can anyone tell me what it's like? Is it very similar to AG, and is it as good? Thanks.
I kinda hope their other cds suck because I want WAY more cds right now than I have money for. :begdn6:

I have bad news for your bill fold my friend....the two previous BloodRedThrone (full length) albums are epic in their own way, from the insane drumming of Freddy Bolso on the album 'Monument of Death', to the tight as fuck song arrangements on the second full length album 'Affiliated with the Suffering'...every serious deathmetal fan should have these three BRT albums (Monument, Affiliated, Altered) in their collection, as these BRT albums are very listenable and are always fun to bash and headgroove to.
Just my two pennies worth!

All three BRT full lengths can be described as the creme la creme of death metal. Worship them.

To be recommended by the bass master Alex of 'Cannibal Corpse' is quite an achievment in itself!!!! We'll just have to wait and see if the opportunity arises for you..you have the backing of (((Saposmittz))) as well as Alex!

Erlend,
If you get the gig, I want to see you play that artificial sliding harmonic that you did on the Trioxin album! I know you mentioned that it's impossible to play live, so I wanna' see you 'defy the laws of tradition' and pull it off live!
Muahahahahahaha!

Sir Erlend, you betya we can get genuine absinth. well, from the Czech Distillery. Maybe Bottoms up. I will bring some to the gig if it happens. Logan Fils brand, I believe is the only absinth made the original 19th Century way.
It's 136proof and goes for $206 US.. ouch, a very expensive high.

got some 73% in munich. that was really weird. everything over 60% in norway is considered an narcotic, so we/i`d really appreciate it

the moonshine most likely has more alcohol per volume, but it goes down a lot easier than that 151 shit...your not even supposed to drink the stuff straight from the bottle, but what the fuck would an 18 year old kid know?? a little puking is most you might get from it...but the moonshine's the real killer. we make on over here called "Ron Caņa" they cure it with raisens, grapes, meat and other condiments...goes down real sweet, almost like wine, but I'll never touch the damn thing again since new years eve 1999. was drunk for 3 days after

what does proof mean in this context anyway? we just deal with % over here. and there`s is scientifically no way to make pure alcohol stronger than 96%. you can only make it in a 100% vacuum tight room. and that wouldnt be a party, now would it.

Erlend,
Proof in this text is defined as:
The alcoholic strength of a liquor, expressed by a number that is twice the percentage by volume of alcohol present.
ps: I recommend 'Dead Guy Ale' rather than hard liquor:
