It was fucken fantastic!

I'd only seen alchemist once before, at metal for the brain, and I was so far back that I left to go and see fuck...Im dead after about half of alchemist's set. they rocked, but still, I wish I had stayed, or better still, the bands had played at different times.

fast forward about 11 months, to a semi-instore sort of set-up (sound underground in canberra). supprt acts were decent, especially rake sodomy and pod people, but this is an alchemist report. alchemist came on stage, and blew me away. actually being able to see what adam and the boys were doing with their instruments close up was a treat, and not many (if any) mistakes were made, a super clean set altogether. they seemed to enjoy it too, pity about what seemed to be a relatively unenthusiastic crowd, except for the front row :p

The Highlight for me was definitely the playing chinese whispers, I love that song.

awesome night altogether, except for waiting outside for 40 odd mins to be picked up. I want my license damnit!
