Extras with new album digi + new Bat logo

Even thought it means my wallet will be slightly Gravaged ;) for that Dollar exchange rate (thank Crom it ain't Pounds!), as we're talking Cryptopsy, I thought I'd go all the way and get the "special edition" of "Once Was Not."
Do any of you guys know if there'll be any extras on it? As far as I can tell, it'll probably be a digi, and have the new futuristic-looking gold spin on the Cryptopsy Bat logo (this is my guess as OWN has two icons on Flo's site).
What do you dudes think of the new logo. I was kinda partial to the sinister version that Francois designed for the poster advertising the 2004 Quebec gigs with The End and Cephalic Carnage. The new one's growing on me, it's familiar yet new and different, which seems to be ideal for OWN.

theres no word what will be included on it yet. maybe somoene going to the first of the shows can ask cryptopsy. Check the august edition of bwbk there was a cryptopsy interview in there i think maybe our question answered was there.

HOLY CRAP CRYPTOPSY filmed there first video!!!
September 23rd Cryptopsy filmed a video for the track The Pestilence That Walketh in Darkness (Psalm 91:5-8).
though i know you forum memebrs your gonna bitch it wasnt a better song JUST BE FUKN GLAD THEY MADE A VIDEO! Flo was asked before in an interview (obviously) if they would ever make a video. He responded i dont think that were NOT a video type of band, SO U FUCKERS BETTER BE HAPPY !!!

Just saw the updates now, I am way beyond stoked! Haven't heard any tracks yet, so I can't offer an opinion but it's awesome that the Montreal monstrosity have released a video! Looking forward to seeing that.
Hmm, a "White Worms" video you say? Was that the live clip one with Martin fronting the band circa "None So Live" era?

Sorry Reinert I don't have any pics. You can see that gig poster by going into the tour archives on the official Cryptopsy site and clicking on the end of year gig at Le Medley in Montreal (you'll see you can click on it). I think that poster is fucken' sweet. I also would have killed to see that show - if not only for the crushing Cryptopsy, but to also see The End: nuts, deranged stuff.. not exactly death metal, but still raging and insane. Goddam, what do they feed our wacky Canadian extreme metal brothers?! :)

Well its ok that they choose Pestilence but I hate CM for always doing an Video for the preview track. For me its more interessting if I get a video for a song I haven't heard. Bigger surprise so to say. Since Pestilence is said to be the softest song of the new album I guess CM wants people to get into Cryptopsy , so they'll hopefully invest some money to make a good video.

Yeah dude I know; I was referring to the Bat logo and the spiky demonic looking horned frame surrounding the NSV. Hmmm, in retrospect, yer right it ain't so much a change to the logo as a slight addition. Something similar to that pattern appears on the "None So Live" cd. I have to to say that the new Cryptopsy Bat Crest on the official site looks beyond :cool:

Self Mutilated as much as I would like to see a video like that, it would be a real battle for Cryptopsy to get it made. Hopefully you'll agree but probably the best synthesis of a DM track and a video has to be the mighty CC's "Devoured By Vermin!" An amazing song, that grainy snuff film look, George puking up what looks like very real gore, Alex, Jack and Rob going off... Excellent!! A video guaranteed to upset any girl present, well most. That vid is a triumph as Metal Blade wanted to film "Bloodlands" as the single, a very cool atmospheric, but slower song. CC stuck to their guns and said fuck that and pushed for "Devoured." The track is BRUTAL and FAST, and the video reflects that perfectly. A classic.

Never seen it, i saw one video and i dont even remebr what it was LOL! i know it was liv and i only had liike a minute and a half downloaded. I bought the cannibal corpse boxset, wow that blew! the dvd in there had four shows i think and they were terrible the three original cc would introduce them and admit to them being so terrible because sound wasnt this and that and video was so far away.

I think the sound of "CC eating Moscow alive" was very good. Especally it was cool footage , because I never saw a live gig or video with Chris Barnes and CC.
