WS Guitar Tone

Anyone here have any idea what equipment and/or equipment settings Jon and Miguel used to get that beeftastic guitar tone on Whisper Supremacy? If anyone knows about the other albums that would be cool, but I'm particularly interested in the WS guitar tone.

On the ATYB Jon played a Fender with EMG-Pickups , EMG 81 I guess and Mesa Rectifiers. He also played that gear on the Live Album. Maybe he already used it on WS too. I know it from interviews of him , but he did said the exact models of amplifers and guitar he used. He also had a Jackson guitar.

I've always attributed most of the guitar sound on that album to Pierre Remillard's work. Just listen to the Gorguts stuff he did, or Obliveon, for that matter...
