Hi Alcha-board users.

I was wondering who is going to which Alchemist shows. Might be fun to meet somewhere.

I'll be at the Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne gigs.

Sorry Glen, would love to meet at the Brisbane-show, but have to travel back home after the Melbourne-show. Might come back to Australia and stay a bit longer next time :devilange

Stay safe,
The Viking

lugging all the gear? I have to work, fuck, where can I cancel my flights?
I thought you would treat me like a royalty, book me nice hotels, and fly me from city to city. I'm used to that with another band, which I can't mention on this board, hahaha. :3ninja:

Wow, a 2006 European tour!!! Now that's what I call a pleasant surprise! Hooray!!! How did that one get started? Does some band want to take you on tour again or will you finally be the headliner? Hopefully you'll work together with a more competent booking company than last year ... And if not, I'll help you out. It's still early enough for that.

Oh boy, do I hope to have a job soon in order to be able to save some money and follow you on that tour from end to end!

You surely are right, brother! But still I can hardly wait!!!

Please make them available online for the rest of us - as soon as you'll have recovered! ;-)

Oh, they will be Mick, fear not. There won't be much recovery time though, I refuse to buy alcohol at The Marquee. Last time I was there they had VB 'on special' for $6.50 (rip-off).

Thanx a lot in advance, mate! What a relief!!! How could I ever live without the Internet?! ;-)

Yeah, do what the original bootleggers did! :-) Oh, but while you're at it you might as well do what these other bootleggers do, too! I mean DAT-recorders are so small nowadays they should fit right next to your bottle of illegal drink! :-) Anyway, would the result of this be the first Alchemist-bootleg or are there already such things?

If my son in law and I have our still set up by November, I'll bring some genuine bootleg 180% proof hootch to the Brisbane gig! If not, I'll just have to stay sober, but I'll be there whatever!

(Might have to stay sober anyway, will have to drive back to the Coast after the gig!)

Peace, Glen.

Crickey, 180% proof! No wonder you had a heart attack!! - Sorry bad taste gag! Maybe we could use it as pyro at the show!
- Not you either Mr Vesten!

Oh yeah Mick - Bob might have some old Alca bootled at www.nospono.com the site is down from time to time but has some old shit. Definatly some Gwarp Crusha there!

Hey Taog,

I downloaded 5 tracks from www.nospono.com some time ago. Are there any other live recordings from Alchemist on there?

Cheers,
The Viking

we have to be back in Aussie for M4TB 2006 on the 26th of november,

Is there going to be a M4TB later this year, or do we have to wait until November 2006 for the next one?

taog

MFTB will be next year for sure probably towards the end on November - That way we can get the timing back the way it should be -towards the end of the year. Feb was to awkward and this year would be too close.

I know the tracks "The Viking" mentioned. Are there more hidden in his cellar?! Did he really do an actual Alchemist-bootleg back in the days?
Oh yeah, and a big thumbs up for your continued work on & for M4TB (Greatest festival name ever, by the way!)!

Well there are old desk tapes from the old Terrace days, we used to get copies and they would float arround, Bob and the lads have digitised a few. Gup would have the biggest collection, may have to raid the archive over there, we'll see

Sounds like a great new comic series. Hey Butz, are you out there?! :-)

Well I was SUPPOSED to be at Overcranked right about now, filming the band live and having a beer or ten with the lads afterwards....

However, here I am at my home computer, sunburnt to Hell, exhausted, half tanked on cheap wine, and missing the bloody show!

I ordered a huge pergola for the house a couple of weeks ago, and damn if the factory didn't get their act together and actually deliver it on time! (yesterday) Not only that, but my always well-meaning (but thoughtless) sons in law volunteered to take this whole weekend off just to help me put the damn thing up!

So my fingers are cut to pieces, my back is aching like you wouln't believe, my eyes are stinging, my neck is red raw, and there's this huge, almost complete pergola out in our courtyard!

Actually, it's almost big enough for the band to perform under. Hmmmm....

Peace, Glen.
