Dammit, just missed it. If only I would have had a working computer a few weeks ago I would have known such pertinent information as an upcoming Twelfth Gate show.

So, Rob, when Blind Guardian eventually comes round on tour for it's new album, think you'll nab the opening spot again? It may have been a few years ago, but that was one seriously badass concert.

Sorry to hear you missed the show. Although, we do have another show coming up on Wednesday, the 23rd (Thanksgiving Eve) at Penny Load Pub in Barrington with our friends Ion Vein...if you're 21+.

Also, I'd love to open for Blind Guardian again...that show at the Metro was without a doubt the best show we've ever played....so far. ;)

Went to Penny Road's website, and it says there are 2 other bands playing that night. Are they playing downstairs and you guys have the upstairs stage to yourselves? Or are you guys all playing together? Looks like one of the other bands is a cover band so.....if they are on before you guys we won't come too early.
We will definitely be there :emot-danc ....hmmm wonder what a turkey will taste like with a hangover? hehehe

Yeah, yeah, I know...I'm such a slacker...hehe.

Actually, we chose to play downstairs (at The Underground) because it has more of a "metal" feel/atmosphere & the sound downstairs is actually better for metal.

We don't have any all-ages shows planned right now, & probably won't until after the powerfest, which is actually an 18+ fest. Are you 18 yet? If so, then you're set. If not, sorry bro!

Scott's new band is called Mindwarp Chamber.

And yeah, bummer about Russ...especially since he is a good singer & a great guy, but IV had to do what's best for the band.

BTW, that added treat was that Scott did a couple songs with us....Innocent & Inner Core.

Also, we've tentatively scheduled a show for Feb 10th! It'll be somewhat of a jam for us. We'll have this dude who came out to audition for us who has a ton of potential, & we want to see how he does live...plus John from Eden's Fall will do a couple songs & even Scott will do one or two. Also tentatively scheduled to play are Ion Vein, with a new singer they've been working with...and also Scott's new band Mindwarp Chamber, which might be a going away party for their bassist Brent. Brent's not quitting...he's moving away, but plans on still being a part of the band long distance I guess...not sure.

Would be a good one to come out to if you're thinking road trip...hehe

That already has a pretty good jump on a great lineup. Novembers Doom are pretty awesome, and so are Shatter Messiah. I don't think I've ever heard Martyr yet. Very curious to see who the headliners will be this year.
