Hey...I was just blown away that you actually post on here...and I had a few things I was wondering.
First, have you guys ever toured in the US? Do you ever plan to? I'm a newer fan, so I'm not familiar with your tours.
Also, I made a guitar tab of LOD,DOD for my own personal use (i have a lot of time), and me and a group of friends were planning on playing a good chunk of it together. I was wondering what type of guitars you guys use, and what sort of tone you like best on guitars.
I just signed up for this forum when I saw you posted here, and I also just want to say how much your music means to me, just another one of your fans. Light of Day is my favorite song of all time, by far, and has inspired me in so many ways. So, thank you.

Thanks a lot, man.
My friends and I had a few more questions, if you have the time...you must be busy as hell. We're all serious musicians, and have a ton of respect for what you do. So...me and my friends were curious...though im sure youve been asked lots of these before...
What bands influenced you the most growing up? Any new albums you're really into right now or that you would recommend?
What would you say you aim for in writing your music?
If you had to classify your music in a few words, what would it be?
What bands nowadays do you see as the most respectable, original, etc.?
How do you guys get along in the band?
and lastly...got any good stories about any live shows or studio sessions? Those always seem fun...

Hey tchort
I'm planning on playing the drums for the cover of Light of Day, Day of Darkness EonBlue referred to earlier. First off, jsut wanted to say that Green Carnation is by far my favorite band at this point. Anyways, I had a few questions for you as well.
What are some of your favorite non-Green Carnation songs?
What single musician influenced you to take up an instrument?
What is the band's favorite song to play live?
What is your stance on downloading music?
When did you start playiing guitar?

Cant think of any right now, but i like a vast blend of music. Some of my favourite bands are Wasp, Deicide, Slayer, Kiss, AngelCorpse, Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, etc.
What single musician influenced you to take up an instrument?
I was not influenced by a musician, but by music it self.
What is the band's favorite song to play live?
I think we have different favourites. I know that some guys in the band love to play Crushed to dust and Writings on the wall. Personally i enjoy playing Rain and LODDOD.
What is your stance on downloading music?
I made the LODDOD as one LOOOONG song. Doesnt that answer your question? ;)
When did you start playiing guitar?
at the age of 13 i think, But then i stopped playing from 92 to 98, so today, i feel i still havent managed to reach the peak i was at when i stopped playing in 92. But then again, i never have the time to rehearse any more.

i stopped playing alltogether after Emperor. When i joined Satyricon in 96, i picked up the bass again and played it for 3 years more. I also played bass with Einherjer in 98 and Carpathian Forest.
In 99 when we formed Blood Red Throne, i started playing guitar again. I also started to play guitar again when GC was reformed in the end of 98. So, the 4-5 albums i have done with Carpathian Forest, the 3 albums with Blood Red Throne and 3 albums with Green Carnation, have all been results of work from 99 up to today.
