Yeah, just fuckin' with ya, it seemed a bit like we were the only two posting on this forum when I wrote that.

And as for why Stratum is my favourite Emeth track: Well, for riffs like those at 0:35, 2:20 and the way the drums change at 2:13.

"Endimecy Preordained" because of the change ups and that big long breakdown section. "Manifestation" cause it's so fuckin brutal, loved to see this one tabbed. I love the vocal break in "Mitigated Enmity", fuckin great. I don't know, I guess my pick for favorite 2 off the CD are...

Impermanence Of Being.
Not only because it was the first Emeth song I heard, but also it has a bit of everything... insanely fast & intricately inhuman bits, a slowed down part, great guitarwork...

Yeah, it was the first song I heard too. I like the beginning on that one. I started the song, heard the kick ass music slowly coming towards me, then...bam...fucking sick gutterals pelted me. Experience of a lifetime listening to Insidious for the first time, let me tell you.

Catatonic Entanglement for: Lyrics, Effect in the beggining and in the end, the riffs between 1:03 - 1:23(crazy bits) and the riffs from 2:25 - the end(one of the best rythim sections in brutal death metal generally).

The whole album is a monstrosity!!!

A tough choice between Impermanence of being, Catatonic entanglement and Stratum.
I picked Stratum though. And Aeon is fucking perfect, I love it! I just feel I can't really compare it to the other songs, as it is completely different. would have chosen it otherwise
