is it me or is anyone else bothered that there is not really any more all death metal shows? they always throw some goofy hardcore band, or some retarted As I lay dying rip off in the mix of a completely brutal show. when i go to a show i dont want to keep hearnig single chord breakdowns, i want to hear blast beats and growling. i mean fuck, even the maryland death fest has THE RED CHORD playing amongst the most brutal bands in the world.. and anyone see the line-up for.. i think its the miluakee metalfest? it should be the miluakee fashion-fest where you can get your hair cut like bobby brady, wear clothes that you could squeeze into when you were 10 years old, and have a blindfolded body piercer try and pierce the center of your lip but miss and pierce your lip in the corner. wtf. anyone agree?

p.s check out my band

If it were not for seeing The Berzerker with Nile and Napalm Death last year, I might not have ever known how much I now love Strapping Young Lad .

And if it were not for seeing Skinless with Dying Fetus a few years ago, I might have not yet heard The Berzerker , and find out how great that they are.

I saw The Red Chord last month, and I think that Six Feet Under should have opened for them.

It's all metal once you get down to it...:p

i did find it a little odd when I went to see Decapitated in February that they had Rotting Christ and Thus Defiled (both black metal bands) on the bill, as a lot of Polish bands tend to take out more death metal bands with them than other styles... Anata did rule though, even if they were criminally underappreciated by the crowd.

I'm just fucking pissed off that Incantation can't be fucked playing Manchester, going up to pissing Yorkshire instead... cunts.

i went and saw vile hypocrisy cannibal corpse and exhumed. that was all good. hypocrisy is a mix of black though, but still, it was all brutal.

well six feet under just sucks. chris quit corpse because they got to fast and then he started sfu, so they dont count. but john longstreth plays iwth the red chord now? thats degrading. thats like derek roddy playing for korn. the red chord is not bad i will admit but its not my cup of tea. i was just men when RAG MEN played iwth cattle decap, black dahlia murder and vital remains? wtf was that about.
