that lineup doesn't look too shitty.... especially if you compare it to the lineups the so-called 'metal' festivals over here get (ie either all gay power metal, or fucking HIM/Lostprophets crap relegating the likes of Napalm Death to a minor stage the size of a portaloo).

Malevolent Creation, you fucks, Origin and Jungle Rot would make me trek to it if I lived Stateside in the next state over or something...


If you want the DREAM metal festival lineup man, you have to look at this years Rotterdam Deathfest... i'm STILL gutted I missed that, more than two months on.
Gorgasm, Origin, Inveracity, Visceral Bleeding, Vomit Remnants, and until their gay representative fucked over the festival organizers, Suffocation...

Milwaukee Metalfest has become a joke over the last few years. $60 for a 2 day pass? Yeah,right I wouldn't pay more than $20 for that shit ass lineup. I won't be there.

Yeah, and I doubt there will be very many people there in December either. Time for Milwaukee Metalfest to go bye bye and for Chi Town to take over and have a fest of it's own.

Matt did tell me he is doing the CIM again this year, supposed to be much better too!

We could use a good fest in Chicago though, the CIM fest is even further from Chicago than Milwaukee is, not really close to Chicago...

there is an up and coming fest up in Iron River,WisconSIN every year called Northern WisconSIN Metalfest... they had Waco headline last year... other than that it was all smaller bands, but it's a very fun time! I'm waiting on the info for this years fest to start promoting... the only bands i know of that are playing are: Rictus Grin, Demonicon, Jaundice (formerly Irritant... these guys are amazing!!) and a punk band called Professor Heffner and the 18 Year Old Experiment... i'll post more when i get all the details.
