I am the lone member of FORMALDEHYDE horde. Extremely raw, grim, primitive, dark and violent black metal art from Eastern Vinland mostly in vein of Eisenwinter. I have recorded "pure hate demo '03" and "hammertank demo '04" thus far, but the activities have had to been put on hold for the time being for various factors. I am talking to my kameraden from elite Brazilian horde DOMINION about eventually releasing a split tape.

Greetings. I play in a one-man "band" like the dude above. It's called Intestinal Lynching and I play black/death metal. It can sound like anything from Naglfar to Cannibal Corpse. If you wish to give my music a listen, go to http://www.soundclick.com/intestinallynching . You can hear my music there if you'd like, and I covered "Deathcrush" just yesterday. You can hear it there.

Hasn't anyone of you send your Tapes to a Recordcompany?
Sure, isn't easy but tell me: Which Company is searching for Black/Doom Metal Bands like us.
I beat the drums for this great Band, Ratatosk, with one of the members here (Waftrudnir). He plays Guitar and always makes feedbacks, not more than this. If anyone is in Germany and hears that Ratatosk play, come, say your name and ask for Sacrelegious, you'll get free entry and beer, and see a great bloodbath.and a tribute to Mayhem (sure)

My band is still around, it's called Ngwalmė (which means torment in the elvish language. I know, it's a silly name, but as we're not so serious at the moment, we'll just keep it with that.) It all started as a joke at the bar of my student society, so after half an hour we had 2 drummers, 2 guitarist, 2 bassists and 2 people who would handle vocals. We booked a practice room for 3 hours, and didn't do much in those 3 hours except for watching our former bassist, now keyboardist being completely stoned. He played a few funny melodies on his keyboard and then sat down. Nothing much came out of that. In the meantime, we came up with a biography that would go back to 1993. We also came up with the idea to make some 1995 tour shirts which would be the African Starvation tour. Enfin, nothing happened for quite some time, but now we're seriously started to do something. 1 of the gitarist and the only bassist are writing songs, and we'll soon sit down and see what it has become.

The style? I don't have a fucking clue. We'll just see what sounds nice. I can handle both grunts as (some sort of) screams so that shouldn't be a problem.

I am a drummer in a band in Sioux City, Iowa USA called Left For Dead. We play pretty heavy, but my band all has different music tastes. Lead guitar is into Death and Thrash mostly, bass player is into old grunge, rhythm guitar player is into mostly mainstream stuff, vocalist is into newer metal. I listen to black and death metal mostly, with some good 90's metal mixed in, and I like old school thrash. Our music sounds very diverse. One song has a vein of Morbid Angel, another has a vein of Amen, another of System Of A Down, another of Superjoint Ritual, and I guess we are just all over the place. Some friends of ours from Sioux City are in a band called Truculence, and we are going to soon be in the process of forming a whore band that is exclusively extreme metal.

Aegrimonia (Melodic Black Metal from Connecticut, USA)

Chris Sanzo- Drums and Percussion
Rob Robinson- Lead and Rhythm Guitars, Vocals
Max Johnson (me)- Rhythm and bass guitars

www.aegrimonia.tk (samples available, but of poor quality. We've redone slaughter in winter, so check back some time soon).

we're mixing very interesting melodies into our music but yet keeping it raw and agressive. Slaughter in Winter is a brutal black metal song with an mellow passage in the middle.

In a band with 2 other people called SLAY THY LIGHT. Don't really have a point of comparison to any other band: you can hear a lot of Graveland and Krieg in there (though we're shit compred to them...). I, personally, have an addiction to synth, so I have to watch myself to keep from going over board. Should be done recording our first real material (i.e. material that doesn't sound like a four track in a tin can) in about 2 and a half/ 3 months.

If i was to start a band it would be a synth project.I wouldent wanna make metal music.

I used to feel like that ('cause everything I did had about...oh...25-30 layers in it), but I've dicovered that you can make serious Black Metal with a shit-load of synth. Then again, you have Mortiis and Ihsahn: regardless of the pipe they smoke now, they did make some fantastic non-BM music...
...just sayin'...
