Cattle Decapitation - How good are they?

The only thing I miss with Cattle Decapitation is a real powerful guitar - and drum sound. That's probably the biggest gripe I have with their productions.

"Humanure" was definately a big improvement over "To Serve Man" - which grew a bit monotoneous in the long run.

they dont have a "powerful" drum sound because they didnt edit the living shit out of the drums, or use any triggers. travis has said they did some editing on to serve man, but unless you use triggers and go though and edit the shit out of the drum tracks, youll never get the sound your talking about. i think its cool to hear a band that doesnt use a bunch of electronic drums, gives it a more "grindy" sound. kinda refreshing.

Cattle Decapitation is an awesome death metal band just by judging from 5 free MP3s that I downloaded from various places on the internet.

I will get their album as soon as I find it in a store!

Cattle Decapitation is a great band, one of my favorites. Travis's vocals are awesome, he's one of my biggest influences.

Yeah, I've just recently started listening to Cattle Decapitation, great stuff! I've only heard some of the stuff from To Serve Man and Humanure, I haven't heard any of their early gore grind stuff yet.
