This thread is purely and totally dedicated to the legendary, one and only, drummer of Impaled- Raul Varela!
Raul is definitely no doubt one of the best drummers on this planet and in my opinion, being a huge Impaled fan, he is totally THE BEST! Had pleasure talking to Raul a few weeks ago and man is he an awesome guy or what? He is so cool i mean seriously the guy totally knows his craft. Told me a few fun things about Mexico, (I love Mexico), and about how he creates this amazing drum patterns on the drum kit. He said that the thing that gets him going is drinking lots of booze which is totally cool with me just as long as he will continue to amaze all Impaled supporters with his outstanding,brilliant, and simply mindbogling drum work. Raul is an expert on how to constantly change drum bits, change the groove on the drum kit, and keep the sound always entertaining on drums overall. His drum work is never boring!
Besides that Raul is trully an incdedibly nice person when you actually meet him.Got to love his cool long hair(never cut it man!:) ) Overall, if you are looking for a drum idol and a really good inspiration on how to play drums very smart and great, look no further than checking out Raul's masterpiece drum performances on all of the Impaled's work. RAUL RULES!!!
