Though I'm not an expert (I don't play guitar myself..), I think overal I like the Jackson sound best, I like its definition.

I learn something new everyday! Jacksons sound much better than BC Rich's. But then again he probably put alot of money into his guitar customizing it.

Kerry King of Slayer also plays BC Rich (as I'm sure you knew..). The quality of the sound really depends on who's playing the instrument. I've seen sooooo many small bands with posers playing cheap BC Rich's just because they look good, but sounded god awful..

Yeah, BC Rich's don't seem to go for quality. I'm sure if you fixed the bridges, lowered the strings closer to the neck, put in some front, mid, and back pickups, and put on a different head, it wouldn't sound too bad. But the effort the put into making them sound good is shitty. They're basically a guitar that you hang on the wall just cause it looks cool. I was never very fond of Kerry King or his guitar work though, or Slayer period. They really just...don't appeal to me at all.

I'm no guitar expert, but I'm sure the US-made BC Riches sound much better (and are subsequently a lot more expensive) than the cheap, Korean-made ones. And of course Chuck's customized Stealth sounded excellent, as we all know...

The US Bitches cost about 5x as much here as the Korean ones...same goes for Jackson and most other US guitars.
