Is there a legitimate feud between the two bands? And if so, is it over Exhumed copying Impaled, Necropolis records, or both?

I think I read an Exhumed interview, or maybe a dozen Exhumed interviews, where they accused US of ripping of them.

Whatever... we chatted with those guys in Maryland, and it hardly came to blows. It's all blood under the bridge.

Oh it came to blows, Ross. You don't even know. Me and Harv in the bathroom stall with a bottle of Alize and some smooth jazz playing in the background. It was a night to remember.

Color me disgusted and possibly a bit jealous.

The best Exhumed recording of all time in my opinion would have been on the four way split CD "Chords of Chaos." It's available on the "Platters of Splatters" re-issue CD, along with the 7" material I'm quite fond of. The recordings are powerfully raw and the song writing seems more energetic to me, which trumps the polished but somewhat more disingenuous song structures of Exhumed's later years.

Some of the best (metal) albums of all time:
Pungent Stench - Been Caught Buttering
Autopsy - Mental Funeral
At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
Carcass - Necroticism: Descanting the Insalubrious
Razor - Violent Restitution
His Hero Is Gone - Monuments to Thieves
Bolt Thrower - For Victory
Gwar - Scumdogs of the Universe
Hammers of Misfortune - The Bastard
Dismember - Like an Ever Flowing Stream
Bathory - Blood Fire Death

Crap... I could go on and on. This was from the top of my head, so take it with a grain of salt.

P.S. thank you ross. i have the platters of splatter cds. i'll start listening to disc 2 now.

also, as long as we're talking about favorites. what are some of the bands favorite horror movies? and have you seen/what do you think about "land of the dead"?

Hey Ross. If Matt ever asked you to write a song with him again and/or be a guest vocalist on a song, would you?

Meh... It's not really a question I think would come up.

At one point, all ex-Exhumed members were supposed to come up at some 10th anniversary show, and I had agreed to do that (it never happened). I did an interview for their DVD. I don't think there would be any new ground to tread creatively together, so I'd decline any offers like you mentioned.

You totally made out with Col in the bathroom. I know this because I peaked through the door and cried silently out of pure jealousy.

This is your wonderful pal Tara, btw. :D

I only made out with Col because I thought he was you. I was a little drunk, and Col has a girlish figure.

I don't know what his excuse is, he doesn't drink.
