who are some of your favorite guitarists?

i dont know if I have any one that i like because of their guitar skills. I seem to judge them for their song writing abilities more than their technical skills. Perhaps its because i am not a technical solo guitarist my self. Jeff Beck got a great sound to his playing. Our second guitarist, Michael Krumins probably have some favourites

You mean second guitaris in BRT or CF? The second guitarist in GC is still Bjørn Harstad, or have I missed something??

I like Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth. He's got really great acoustic parts.Any other Opeth fans in here?

Oh also, I'm really starting to like the guitar work in the band Winds. Has anyone else heard them? They just released a new CD, but their other cd, Reflections of the I, has some amazing solos.

Yep, Carl August Tiedemann from Winds really know how to handle the strings. Winds latest release is my favourite of the year so far.

I'm a fan of Opeth, as well.

Steve Vai is pretty good.

Joe Satriani is godly.

Peter Lindgrehn and Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth are pretty good.

Michael Romeo from Symphony X is awesome.
