I know it sounds crazy, but we've seen a few Cattle decap tattoos while we've been on tour and we want pics of them for our website... we have more additions coming to the fan section on our site and I know there are some peeps out there that have cattle tattoos that haven't shown us or sent us pics! Some dude had the to serve man cover on his arm at a recent show and I didn't even get to see it.
so if anyone can help, do so!

No that's not mine. I don't really believe in tattoos. At least I'm not that into em, personally. Not for my body. i understand that they are an amazing part of human culture, but I just can't do it. I have skin problems that prevent me from getting tattoos.

eek! on Friday i saw a guy with the Death logo tattoed on his upper arm. band logos make me cringe when they're on human flesh, and you aren't in the band/ a relative of the band/ married to a bandmate/ etc.

i plan on gettig a Death tattoo and already have a Opeth tat, and recently thought of getting a Cattle tat. it probably sounds retarded but both bands have change my life and way of thinking, so getting a tattoo to me pays tribute to them.

okay, seriously, don't get a fucking cattle decapitation tattoo. Come on, this is not meaningful music.
Not meaningful music. Hell, and I was happy with the term "True False Metal"!
Death were "meaningful"?
"some say she's naive, she's a stupid bitch. Some say to forgive. Guilty, she should die"
I guess. I love Chuck Shuldiner and they were my first death metal band when I was a kid, but I always thought the lyrics came second. Or third even. Never did they strike me as being "Meaningful."

same here, the lyrics have changed my whole view on animals. about the same time i was really getting into Cattle, i had some talks with people about animals, and it never accoured to me that if people have souls, maybe animals have souls as well.
but anyways, to say the lyrics aren't meaningful is just ignorant. if you don't see any meaning in them then you missed the whole point. like travis has said, they don't sing and make music about fucking dead people, beating off over a kid's face or just stupid shit. i like any kind of lyrics really, a brutal band could sing about picking flowers and licking mens' assholes for all i care, it's all about the music for me. but CD have lyrics that make you think, and to me they blow my mind. plus the music is great. thus, i love CD.

that song has a serious message though, and their lyrics did improve a lot on their later releases. I know that Cattle Decapitation have strong ideas behind the lyrics, and you guys have made me thing, but "Bukkake Tsunami"? :p

Cattle Decapitation has great lyrics on most songs, Testicular Manslaughter, that was about some rapist getting his nuts blown off which is much more “meaningful” then rape or pedophilia, for the most part I don’t like Death Metal lyrics very much my preference is music but Cattle Decapitation has good lyrics and music…I enjoy the human anatomy part like on the song Humanure.

main reason why i got into cattle decapitation was because of how much the lyrics related to my ideals and expressed in the brutalest way possible. lips and assholes and polyps would have to be the best lyrically and musically.

Of course I'm serious about you guys teaching me to be more nice to animals, I never beat them or teased them in any way but you taught me to take care of them much better.

It shouldn't take lyrics to realize that you need to be nice to animals. In my opinion, animals supercede human beings because we are far to rediculously stupid to get along in harmony where as animals do that just fine. But back to the point, i think a cattle decapitation tattoo would be awesome!!! im a HUUUUUUUUUGE fan of Cattle Decapitation, and i would be more than thrilled to get one, and in the future when people ask me what it all means, I'd be delighted to inform them of the information that has been absent in their minds all these years. I would want the tatto of "so many humans, so few recipes" with the crossed out human in the middle \m/
edit: I am not saying you have ever been mean to them, I'm just stating that in general... and coincidentally your post related to what i was gonna write.
